Ingushetia: Special Operation in the Village of Sleptsovskaya

On March 26, 2009 armed officers of Ingushetia law enforcement agencies started a special operation in the village of Sleptsovskaya (officially known as Ordzhonikidsevskaya). The aim of the operation was to arrest alleged members of armed guerrilla (boeviks).

Memorial met with residents of the attacked house (8 apartments, 1 Demchenko street) and clarified details of the operation.
