Ingushetia: special operation or
extrajudicial execution?
On August 6, 2009, around 6 a.m. in the village of Kantyshevo (Ingushetia)
officers of Federal security service in Ingushetia killed three people during
the joint special operation with Domestic forces, Temporary joint group and
Ingush Ministry of Home Affairs.
Press release distributed by the press-service of Ingush Federal security
service says that during the special operation Musa Hautiev and Adam Hautiev
were killed. The third man, unknown, exploded himself. There were no losses in
law enforcement authorities. According to the operations report, the three men
were members of the so-called "shooting group" and took part in the
killings of officers of law enforcement authorities.
Some days later, the third man was identified. It was Vitaly Chernobrovkin,
1975, Vorkuta resident. It should be noted that he was the main suspect in the
case of abduction of the son of Mikhail Stavsky, the vice-president of
"Rosneft," in April of 2009 in Moscow. He was released on June 18,
2009.
Hautiev's relatives say that the official information is wrong. They believe
that it was extrajudicial execution.
