First court session in case of Kadyrov vs HRC Memorial and Orlov

Tverskoy district court of Moscow started to investigate the suit of Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov regarding alleged defamation today.

Oleg Orlov, head of HRC Memorial presented a whole pack of documents to be added to the case file. Two witnesses gave testimonies  (as of 2 pm Moscow time):  HRC  Memorial member  Ekaterina Sokirianskaya and head deputy of HRW Moscow office Tatiana Lokshina.
