Another Court Hearing in the Orlov's Case
Took Place
Today, on November 2, 2010, another court hearing in criminal
case on libel initiated against the chair of the Board of Human Rights Center Memorial,
Oleg Orlov, took place at the court district No. 363 of Khamovniki
district of Moscow (1905 year street, 4, bld. 1). It lasted 40
minutes.
Public prosecutor, assistant of the public prosecutor on the Central
Administrative District of Moscow Tatyana Popova read the materials of
the case that, according to the prosecution, confirm their position.
At a previous hearing public prosecutor and representative of the injured
Ramzan Kadyrov informed that at the hearing of November 2
they would file a petition. Today the lawyer of the accused Henry Reznik
asked about the petition. The prosecution said that they did not have a
petition at this juncture.
Thereby, another time representative of the injured, Andrey Krasnenkov,
did not present to the court any "sensational" materials about which
he used to talk.
The prosecution finished presenting its evidences.
At the next hearing that will take place on November 25, at 11
a.m. at the same court district questioning of the witnesses of the defense
will start.
