On July 27, 2011, Bashir Osmanovich Khashiev, resident of the village of Ordzhonikidzevskaya (Sleptsovskaya) in the Sunzhensky district of the Republic of Ingushetia, applied with a written statement to the Human Rights Center “Memorial.” He wrote about the abduction of his son, Ibragim Bashirovish Khashiev, born 1983, who lives with him at Sunzhenskaya Street, 13.

According to Bashir, on July 25 at 7:00 am, unknown armed men wearing masks broke into their home and took Ibragim with them. Bashir, who was on a fishing trip at the time, learned about the abduction from neighbors. The door to the home had been broken, and inside the furniture had been overturned and belongings scattered. Documents and Ibragim's mobile phone were missing from the home. According to eyewitnesses, the abductors arrived in several automobiles, model “Lada-Priora.” Bashir Khashiev appealed to the police department of Sunzhensky district.

According to official information on the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Ingushetia, the fact of abduction has not been established; Ibragim Khashiev is considered missing after he left his home.

Soon Ibragim Khashiev's relatives received information about Ibragim's documents, which were found in the vicinity of the village of Bamut, the place where, on July 27, two residents of the village of Ordzhonikidzevskaya, Akhmed and Adam Ozdoev, were killed by law enforcement agents for the Republic of Chechnya. According to official information, the Ozdoevs were killed after they offered armed resistance (http://groups.google.com/group/hrcmemorialeng/browse_thread/thread/6ebd7e3a870cbde9?hl=en).
