6 According to the data of the Turks–Meskhetians leaders the total number of those who left the Territory by the middle of 1995 and migrated to other regions of the former USSR constituted about 250 families (1.5 thousand people) including approximately 25 families from Abinsk, 2 from Anapa, 80 from Apsheronsk, 70–80 from Krymsk regions and 70 families from Byelorechensk [S.Tamimov, S.Tedorov, R.Akhmedov, 4.07.95]. In January 1994, 16 families left the Territory for permanent domicile in Turkey [information from the UDNVM]. The number of families which migrated from the Territory to Turkey totalled more than 20. Since January 1994, no families moved from the Territory to Turkey [V.V.Remmler, 5.07.95]
