В рамках семинара «Государственный террор в СССР. Источники и методы изучения» состоится доклад историка литературы Михаила Дзюбенко «Театрализованные суды в СССР 1920-х годов». 

Вскоре после революции широкое распространение в Советской республике получили так называемые «театрализованные суды». Это были любительские постановки, весьма приблизительно имитировавшие процесс судопроизводства. Состав «подсудимых» был разнообразен и своеобразен: от исторических деятелей (Дантона, Дарвина, Гапона), литературных персонажей (Чацкого, Базарова) и современных типов (неграмотного, читателя, дезертира, вредителя) до домашних животных (коровы), растений (сорняков) и хозяйственных орудий (сохи). Один из таких судов описан в романе Вениамина Каверина «Два капитана» (глава «Суд над Евгением Онегиным»). Издавались даже специальные инструкции по проведению подобных мероприятий. В начале 1930-х гг. волна «театрализованных судов» спадает.

  • Каковы были цель и смысл «театрализованных судов»?
  • Как это явление соотносится с разнообразными формами театральной жизни 1910-х – 1920-х гг.?
  • Случайно ли угасание подобных «судов» совпадает с началом так называемых «открытых процессов»?

Ответ на многие из этих вопросов дает изучение периодики 1919–1930-х гг. и других источников.
