В рамках цикла «Топография тоталитарного наследия: Москва 1920–50-х гг.» (совместно с Культурным центром ЗИЛ) состоится лекция «(Не)выживание советских ученых: картография репрессированной науки в Москве».

С первых лет своего существования советская власть пыталась превратить науку и ученых в послушных исполнителей государственного заказа. Система наказаний во многом определяла способ организации советской науки: заключенные инженеры работали в закрытых конструкторских бюро, заключенные лагерей строили МГУ и академические институты. Высылка дореволюционной интеллигенции, создание новых коммунистических институтов для быстрой подготовки идеологически подкованной номенклатуры, переезд Академии наук и превращение ее в лояльное советское учреждение, «шарашки», кампании против отдельных ученых и целых научных областей – как нанести память об этих и других событиях из жизни советской репрессированной науки на современную карту Москвы?
